Job Description

Project description In Securities Operations IT, we are looking for individuals who are passionate about what they do, who value excellence, learning, and integrity. Responsibilities

Design, create, and modify database objects such as stored procedures, functions, triggers, and indexes.

Analyze and optimize queries, tune database performance, and ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.

Troubleshooting & Prod SupportDiagnose and resolve database-related production issues

Strong programming skills in Transact-SQL for writing complex stored procedures, handling cursors, variables, and loops

Comfortable with Unix commands and scripting for automation and server management.

Skills Must have

Hands-on experience in Sybase (at least 5+ years of experience)

Hands-on experience in T-SQL

Hands-on experience in Unix, Autosys

Database Management System (DBMS)

Understand agile methodologies and be familiar with tools like JIRA, Git, Jenkins / TeamCity, etc. Nice to have

Java knowledge will be a plus

Hands-on experience in Oracle

Perl

Experience in analyzing and resolving real-time production issues, including performance issues
