Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with PostgreSQL
Expert Level SQL, PL/pgSQL, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
Knowledge of JSON and PostgreSQL support for JSON Good Grasp of ETL concepts
PostGIS proficiency and grasp of core geospatial concepts
Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g. Apache Cassandra) and NoSQL support in PostgreSQL
Experience working with time series databases
Experience with message queuing, full text indexing, and other other high performance data concepts.

Responsibilities

Demonstrable experience working with huge, interdependent, complex datasets and data structures.
Provide guidance and support to Application Developers
Assist with schema design, code review, SQL query tuning
Install, tune, implement and upgrade DBMS installations
Experience in administering, managing and tuning databases
Write and deploy SQL patches
Upgrade and improve application schema and data upgrades
