Database Developer

As a Database Developer at Inventrax, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining robust database solutions to support our traceability products in the manufacturing, distribution, and logistics industries. Your responsibilities will include: - Having a strong understanding of how the SQL Server database engine works, including physical storage, indexing, and best practices for physical database design. - Utilizing data modeling discipline to create normalized database schemas. - Understanding the differences between normalization and de-normalization and implementing appropriate schemas for both OLTP and OLAP databases. - Writing complex Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers to support our applications. - Assisting developers in optimizing and tuning their T-SQL code. - Managing data access and resolving database performance issues. - Familiarity with various SQL Server features such as SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, XML, JSON, Service Broker, Full-Text, etc., and their applications. - Demonstrating excellent troubleshooting skills and effective communication when dealing with MSSQL Server-related issues. - Preparing technical documentation to support the development and maintenance of database solutions.
