Description: Primary Skills - DATABASE SQL, design and deploy the database Secondary Skills Software Development Lifecycles (waterfall, iterative, agile, etc. Certifications (if any) Role: Database Architect Grade C1 Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall design and development of databases that underly the business applications. Understand overall current application landscape and work on future roadmap aligned with business architecture. Works with the DBA team, application developers, business analysts and end users to understand needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Designs and implements databases including tables, views, stored procedures and other database objects. Work with stakeholders including the Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs. Build the pipelines required for optimal loading of data from a wide variety of data sources to ADLS using Azure Data Factory, Databricks and other Azure Data technologies. Work Experience: Experience is requirement gathering from cross functional application teams 5-7 years demonstrated relational database design and development experience (ie. Tables, views, stored procedures, queries, etc.). Demonstrated experience designing/modeling relational and analytical databases. Experience in designing and developing databases in a Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse environment Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycles (waterfall, iterative, agile, etc.). Experience with Modern Database/storage technologies (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, NoSQL, etc.) Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communications. Experience with ETL technologies is a plus.
