Database and Edit Check UAT Tester

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform database testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Maintain comprehensive database testing documentation.
• Develop detailed edit check test specifications.
• Conduct UAT for edit checks, ensuring compliance with required standards.
• Identify and communicate day-to-day issues and risks within scope of work.
• Assist in regulatory inspections, preparing responses to audit findings.
• Participate in data management and cross-functional working groups, including global network representation.
• Advocate for data management best practices internally and externally.

Basic Qualifications & Experience

• Master's degree with 3-4 years of experience in life sciences, computer science, business administration, or equivalent field OR
• Bachelor's degree with 5-6 years of experience in life sciences, computer science, business administration, or equivalent field OR
• Diploma with 9-10 years of experience in biopharmaceutical clinical research.
• Experience in clinical research trials conducted within biotech, pharmaceutical, or clinical research organizations (CROs).

Must-Have Skills

• Proficiency in database testing and edit check UAT.
• Familiarity with testing and validation plans.
• Strong understanding of testing documentation best practices.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
• Understanding of clinical data management processes.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with electronic data capture (EDC) systems and data management plans (DMP).
• Experience in inspection readiness.
• Understanding of database audit trails.
• Knowledge of Trial Master Files (TMF).

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in team environments.
