Role Overview: As a Database Administrator, your primary responsibility will be managing and maintaining database systems on production servers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functionality of databases, with a focus on Postgres and AWS-RDS. Your tasks will involve monitoring performance, implementing automation processes, and setting up primary/secondary databases. Additionally, proficiency in SQL query writing for data retrieval and manipulation will be essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Database administration experience on production servers, particularly with Postgres and AWS-RDS - Monitoring and identifying performance issues to maintain optimal database functionality - Knowledge of Partitioning and Replication of databases for efficient data management - Implementing Automation processes to streamline database operations - Setting up and synchronizing Primary/Secondary databases - Proficient in SQL Query writing for data retrieval and manipulation Qualification Required: - 5 to 8 years of overall experience in the field - Specific experience with PostgreSQL and AWS-RDS - Proficiency in Automation and SQL Query writing - Ability to monitor performance issues and implement necessary solutions - Understanding of Partitioning and Replication of databases Additional Company Details: This is a contractual/temporary position lasting for 6 months. Benefits include health insurance and Provident Fund, with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday. The work location for this role is in person.
