Project Role : Database Administrator Project Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. Must have skills : Atlassian Jira Good to have skills : Atlassian Confluence Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary :As a Database Administrator, you will administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. You will perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems (DBMS) and providing input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. You will be based in Pune and should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Atlassian Jira. Roles & Responsibilities: Expected to perform independently and become an SME. Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. Ensure the smooth operation of databases and resolve any issues that arise. Design and implement new databases based on client requirements. Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and security. Monitor database performance and optimize as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues. Develop and maintain documentation for database procedures and processes. Professional & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Atlassian Jira. Good To Have Skills:Experience with Atlassian Confluence. Strong understanding of database management systems and concepts. Experience in database design, implementation, and maintenance. Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures. Familiarity with configuration management and version control systems. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Atlassian Jira. This position is based in Pune. A 15 years full time education is required.
