Project Role Description : Design, implement and maintain databases. Install database management systems (DMBS). Develop procedures for day-to-day maintenance and problem resolution.
Must have skills : Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform
Good to have skills : Snowflake Data Warehouse

Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will design, implement, and maintain databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that the databases meet the needs of the organization and support its goals effectively. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Monitor database performance and implement necessary optimizations. - Assist in the development of database policies and procedures to ensure data integrity. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse. - Strong understanding of database management systems and their architecture. - Experience in database performance tuning and optimization techniques. - Familiarity with data backup and recovery processes. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
