Data Test E ngineer - Immediate Joiner

Job Description:

• Understand business functionalities and technical/database landscapes of the applications in scope under i360.
• Collaborate with Database Engineers and Data analysts to understand the requirements and testing requirements.
• Build and maintain test automation framework, create robust & maintainable test cases that cover various ETL processes, database systems and data analyses
• Implement Quality Engineering Strategies, best practices and guidelines ensuring scalability, reusability, and maintainability.
• Identifying, replicating, and reporting defects and verify defect fixes.
• Verify and validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency using ETL tools and SQL queries
• Pro-active, strong minded, Contribution motivated, adapt to changes & Strong Communication (Verbal & Written) Skills
• Expertise in DB-related testing and ETL testing.
• Strong Python programming skills
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with ETL tools like pandas, great expectations.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases like Redshift, elastic search, OpenSearch, Postgres, snowflake.
• Good knowledge around analyzing population data and demographics.
• Strong knowledge in version control – Gitlab and pipeline integration.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to work under pressure, critical thinking skills and able to operate with minimal supervision.
• Contribution motivated
• Good Verbal & Written Communication skills.
• Good Mentorship and Knowledge sharing skills
• Experience with Jira.
• Good knowledge of Agile methodology.
• Hands on experience in Dev-Ops like Gitlab CI/CD pipeline
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good knowledge of the current market trends.
