Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of data architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data lake/warehouse solutions.
Provide technical leadership to a team of data engineers, setting best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with product, analytics, and engineering teams to understand data needs and translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
Define and enforce data modeling standards, naming conventions, and data governance practices.
Own the end-to-end data lifecycle including ingestion, transformation, storage, access, and monitoring.
Evaluate and select appropriate cloud and on-premises data tools, technologies, and frameworks.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues, optimize queries and pipelines for performance and cost-efficiency.
Contribute to and maintain documentation, design artifacts, and knowledge base.
