Data Strategy Director

As the Data Strategy Director at TBWA, you will play a crucial role in driving and translating creative and contemporary ideas into impactful designs. Your responsibilities will focus on designing and deploying creative campaigns for global clients, including Fortune 50 companies. Your expertise will be pivotal in leveraging data tools and sources to provide strategic insights that drive business success. Here's what will be expected from you: - Strong grounding in data tools and sources such as GWI, YouGov, Statista, financial and category reports - Ability to problem-solve and creatively investigate open-source and 3rd-party options to derive disruptive insights - Quick-thinking and commercially aware, thriving in fast-paced environments with the initiative to act proactively - Understanding global nuances and applying them across markets - Collaborating with strategists to sharpen briefs and identify opportunities for innovative ideas - Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to upskill a team, enhance outputs, refine processes, and elevate standards - Proficiency in Excel and a quick learner when it comes to new tools In terms of qualifications, we are seeking a candidate who is comfortable within a data environment and possesses the following: - 8+ years of experience in data planning, strategy, or analytics roles - Proven track record of leading data teams, preferably in a client-facing or agency setting - Cross-disciplinary experience in CRM, analytics, loyalty, advertising, and media, with an understanding of how they interconnect - Experience working across various sectors such as FMCG, travel, financial services, retail, automotive, and ecommerce - Previous involvement in managing teams of analysts and data strategists - Hands-on experience in owning and delivering data projects from inception to completion Join us at TBWA and be a part of our dynamic team where your expertise in data strategy can make a significant impact on our global operations.
