Data Steward

You will be joining Lexitas India Pvt. Ltd. as a Lead Data Steward, supporting enterprise data initiatives by ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and quality of data pipelines across data platforms. Your expertise in ETL/ELT development, data quality practices, and data management principles will be crucial in establishing trusted data foundations for business intelligence, analytics, and operational reporting. This role will require close collaboration with US-based stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to enhance the cloud-based data architecture. - Design and maintain efficient ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and delivering high-quality data. - Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity within cloud data platforms. - Implement and monitor data quality rules, validation checks, and exception handling. - Collaborate with US-based teams to align data delivery with business and reporting requirements. - Document data processes, standards, and lineage for governance and compliance. - Identify automation opportunities in data validation, cleansing, and monitoring. - Troubleshoot data issues and implement corrective actions to maintain trust in enterprise data assets. - Transform raw, complex data into actionable insights through effective visualization techniques. - Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field. - 10+ years of experience in ETL/ELT development and data integration projects. - Proven experience working in offshore teams supporting US-based enterprise data initiatives. - Solid understanding of data quality principles, data governance concepts, and master data management. - Proficient in SQL and scripting for data transformation and troubleshooting. - Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica, or dbt. - Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms (Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, etc.). - Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate across time zones. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience supporting legal, insurance, or financial services data systems. - Familiarity with Power BI or other BI platforms for validation and testing. - Understanding of compliance and data privacy frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).,
