Data Scientist - Transportation & Logistics Domain

You are passionate about uncovering insights from complex datasets and driving innovation in the transportation, logistics, and fleet management space. As a Data Scientist, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Work with the business team to understand the data sources and conduct a detailed Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to establish the quality and completeness of data. - Design, implement, and maintain robust data preparation pipelines based on available data, especially in manufacturing datasets, to support Machine Learning (ML) Models. - Analyze structured and semi-structured datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities. - Conduct ad-hoc analysis using statistical and machine learning algorithms based on the available data as per business requirements. - Collaborate effectively in a global, cross-functional team using agile methodologies. As a qualified candidate for this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in Data Science with a strong expertise in Machine Learning. - Hands-on experience in building scalable and deploying ML solutions. - Proven expertise in working with datasets in the transportation, logistics, or fleet management domains. - Experience in projects involving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as route efficiency, fuel usage, delivery time, fleet utilization, etc., is preferred. - Knowledge of building recommendation systems and personalization algorithms using traditional ML models. - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML libraries like scikit-learn, pandas, etc., along with Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts. - Experience with cloud platforms, with Azure being preferred. Please note that immediate joiners with a B.E/B.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field are preferred for this role.,
