Data Scientist - Transportation & Logistics Domain

As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in transforming operations with actionable insights and advanced data analysis techniques in the transportation, logistics, and fleet management space. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with the business team to understand data sources and performing detailed Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to ensure data quality and completeness. - Designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data preparation pipelines for Machine Learning (ML) Models, particularly in manufacturing datasets. - Analyzing structured and semi-structured datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. - Conducting ad-hoc analysis using statistical and machine learning algorithms based on business requirements. - Working effectively in a global, cross-functional team using agile methodologies. In order to be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in Data Science with a strong expertise in Machine Learning. - Hands-on experience in building scalable and deploying ML solutions. - Proven expertise in working with datasets related to transportation, logistics, or fleet management. - Experience in projects involving key performance indicators (KPIs) such as route efficiency, fuel usage, delivery time, and fleet utilization is preferred. - Knowledge of building recommendation systems and personalization algorithms using traditional ML models. - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML libraries like scikit-learn, pandas, etc., along with Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts. - Experience with cloud platforms, with Azure being preferred.
