Data Scientist- Pytorch/ TensorFlow

As a Data Scientist at UPS, you will play a key role in creating and implementing advanced analytics models and solutions to extract predictive and prescriptive insights from large volumes of structured and unstructured data. You will work collaboratively with a team dedicated to researching and implementing predictive requirements by utilizing industry standard machine learning and data visualization tools. Your expertise will empower confident decision-making and product creation, driving UPS into a future of innovation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define key data sources from UPS and external sources to deliver models. - Develop and implement pipelines for data cleansing, transformations, and enrichments from multiple sources. - Collaborate with data engineering teams to validate and test data and model pipelines. - Perform exploratory analysis of data to discover trends and patterns meeting business needs. - Define model key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure validation, testing, and re-training of existing models. - Review and create repeatable solutions through project documentation, process flowcharts, and clean code. - Synthesize insights and present findings through clear and concise reports to stakeholders. - Present operationalized analytic findings and provide recommendations. - Incorporate best practices in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and cloud-based AI technologies for deployment and market introduction. - Leverage emerging tools and technologies to deliver insights supporting predictive and prescriptive solutions. **Qualifications:** - Ability to take a data science problem from start to finish using pytorch/tensorflow. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Expertise in statistical techniques, machine learning, and operations research for business applications. - Proficiency in R, SQL, Python. - Deep understanding of data management pipelines and experience in launching advanced analytics projects at scale. - Experience with Cloud-AI technologies and knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows environments. - Solid oral and written communication skills for conveying analytical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. - Master's Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent job experience. **Preferences:** - Familiarity with Java or C++ UPS offers a permanent role committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.,
