About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our Data & Analytics function, which drives business insights and decision-making through advanced analytics, machine learning, and data-driven solutions. This role specifically supports Pharma Commercial Web Analytics and the migration of over 100K customers from a legacy web portal (Order Express) to a new enterprise platform, Vantus HQ.

The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, technical depth, and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable business recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand challenges, define problems, and identify analytical opportunities.
• Perform

  exploratory data analysis (EDA)

  to identify trends, root causes, and actionable insights.
• Design and develop

  ML/AI models

  for customer behavior prediction, content and message recommendations, and migration risk mitigation.
• Build and deploy

  recommendation systems

  to enhance user experience on e-commerce or web platforms.
• Summarize insights, financial impacts, and pros/cons of various analytical approaches.
• Contribute to

  MLOps

  model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance in production.
• Support and maintain existing analytical models, ensuring accuracy and performance.
• Act as a

  mentor

  to junior team members and guide them in technical and business understanding.
• Work directly with business teams to demonstrate

  use cases and measurable value

  derived from analytics solutions.

What You’ll Bring

• 8+ years of experience in

  Data Science, ML Ops, or Advanced Analytics

  .
• Bachelor’s degree in

  Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics

  , or related field.
• Proficiency in

  Python, R, and SQL

  for data manipulation and model development.
• Strong experience in building and deploying

  machine learning models

  and handling large datasets.
• Understanding of

  web analytics

  platforms and content personalization frameworks.
• Excellent

  communication and stakeholder management

  skills; ability to explain complex findings to non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to understand

  business use cases

  , translate them into analytical solutions, and quantify value realization.
• Experience working on

  e-commerce recommendation systems

  or similar customer-centric ML models is a strong plus.
