As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing large structured and unstructured datasets. Your main tasks will include developing and implementing machine learning and statistical models to solve business problems, performing exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, correlations, and patterns, as well as designing and executing data experiments to test hypotheses and validate models. You will communicate your findings through visualizations, dashboards, and clear business reports. Furthermore, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, product, and marketing to integrate models into production systems. It will be your duty to monitor and improve model performance over time and stay updated with new technologies, algorithms, and tools in data science and AI. Key Responsibilities: - Collect, clean, and preprocess large structured and unstructured datasets. - Develop and implement machine learning and statistical models. - Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and patterns. - Design and execute data experiments to test hypotheses. - Communicate findings through visualizations, dashboards, and reports. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into production systems. - Monitor and improve model performance. - Stay updated with new technologies in data science and AI. Qualifications & Skills: - Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field. - Experience: 5 years+ of experience in data analysis, data science, or machine learning. In addition to technical skills such as proficiency in Python or Predictive analysis for data analysis, experience with AWS, knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, matplotlib, seaborn), and experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus. Soft skills required for this role include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and storytelling skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Please note that this is a full-time position with a remote work location.
