Data Scientist

Role Overview: KLA is seeking a Data Scientist/ML Engineer with expertise in NLP, statistics, and Conversational AI. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Statistical Modelling, Machine Learning algorithms, and Conversational AI, with a strong background in data mining and running simulations. You will have a passion for uncovering solutions within large datasets and collaborating with business partners to enhance business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Build end-to-end ML systems, including traditional ML models and Conversational AI, and deploy them at scale. - Research and develop innovative statistical models and ML models for data analysis. - Develop and maintain RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) applications, implementing algorithm changes to enhance AI performance. - Utilize predictive modeling to optimize customer service experience and supply chain efficiency. - Identify data patterns through statistical modeling, create custom data models and algorithms for data sets. - Collaborate with business partners across the organization to leverage company data for solutions. - Work with project managers to define objectives for AI systems. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, or related field. - Experience in solving problems with Conversational AI in a production environment within the High-tech Manufacturing Industry. - 2+ years of experience in Python and ML packages (NumPy, Keras, Seaborn, Scikit-learn). - Strong understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms such as Regression models, kNN, SVM, NB, Decision Trees. - Expertise or familiarity with one or more deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch.,
