Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  
• 4+ years’ experience with

  Big Data technologies

  , specifically Hadoop and Python.
• 4+ years’ experience in

  Python/Java

  .
• Understanding of

  data architecture principles and best practices

  .
• Experience with

  data preprocessing

  and libraries like

  Pandas & NumPy

  .
• Understanding of

  NLP techniques

  , semantic extraction, and modeling.
• Familiarity with

  NLTK, SpaCy, Transformers, and Gensim

  .
• Deep understanding of

  text representation techniques

  , statistics, and classification algorithms.
• Experience in

  mining data

  , designing algorithms, and aligning data systems with business objectives.
• Experience delivering solutions in

  Agile environments

  .
• Familiarity with

  Git/GitLab/GitFlow

  and

  Jenkins

  .
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with global teams.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle confidential information.
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines within a matrixed organization.
  

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Software Technical Leads, TPOs, and other programmers.
  
• Participate in

  design and grooming sessions

  ; build models and craft features from text data.
• Embed libraries or solutions into the platform and support their implementation.
  
• Document work to enable collaboration with other engineers.
  
• Work with other software engineering teams to support projects.
  
• Share knowledge and introduce new insights and technologies.
  
• Participate in design sessions to enhance Cotiviti’s ML platform.
  
• Deliver solutions that identify payment integrity issues, reduce healthcare costs, or improve outcomes.
