We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering Key Responsibilities: Build, test, and deploy machine learning models for predictive and prescriptive analytics Strong proficiency in Pythonand its data science libraries Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks Solid understanding of statistical analysis, probability, and hypothesis testing. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Python-based tools). Proficiency in working with databases(SQL and NoSQL) and querying large datasets. Requirements Qualifications External To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: Bachelor s degree in computer science engineering or related field. 12+ years of experience in IT. Build, test, and deploy machine learning models for predictive and prescriptive analytics Proficiency in working with databases(SQL and NoSQL) and querying large datasets. Familiarity with data preprocessing techniques, feature engineering, and model evaluation. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with unstructured data. Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of cloud platforms(AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services. Familiarity with APIsand integrating machine learning models into production systems. Experience with time-series analysis, natural language processing (NLP), or computer vision. Knowledge of DevOps/MLOps practicesfor deploying and monitoring models You ll achieve more when you join HSBC.
