Data Science Trainer/Faculty

As a Data Science Trainer/Faculty at our organization, your primary role will be to deliver high-quality training sessions in data science, machine learning, and analytics. You will play a key role in curriculum design, hands-on instruction, and mentoring learners to develop practical skills. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver engaging training sessions on various topics such as data analysis, machine learning, statistics, data visualization, and Python/R programming. - Develop, update, and maintain curriculum and training materials for learners at different levels (beginner to advanced). - Conduct live lectures, workshops, webinars, and hands-on labs using real datasets. - Create assignments, quizzes, projects, and assessments to evaluate learner progress effectively. - Provide mentorship and support to learners, assisting them with coding challenges, project work, and career guidance. - Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data science to enhance the curriculum. - Gather feedback from learners and continuously enhance training methods and materials. - Assist in developing and delivering corporate training programs when required. **Required Skills & Qualifications:** - Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. - 2+ years of proven experience in data science or analytics roles. - Prior experience as a trainer, instructor, or mentor in data science is highly preferred. - Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, etc.), and optional knowledge in R. - Proficiency in data visualization tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, Power BI, Tableau (optional). - Sound understanding of statistical and machine learning concepts, data wrangling, preprocessing, exploratory data analysis, SQL, and databases. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for better understanding. - Experience with online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, LMS platforms) and version control (Git/GitHub). **Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):** - Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud. - Published content or courses on platforms like Udemy, Coursera, YouTube, etc. - Certifications in Data Science, Machine Learning, or related areas.
