Data Science Lead - Python

As a Data Science Lead at our company, you will play a crucial role in driving our AI and ML initiatives. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and mentoring a team of data scientists and interns, fostering growth and technical excellence. - Planning, prioritizing, and managing projects aligned with organizational goals. - Designing, developing, and deploying end-to-end ML systems from data acquisition to model production. - Staying ahead of AI/ML advancements and implementing state-of-the-art research into practical applications. - Driving innovation in generative AI and large language model (LLM) projects. - Collaborating cross-functionally with business and technical teams to identify opportunities and deliver impactful solutions. - Presenting insights, findings, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders in a clear and effective manner. Qualifications required for this role include: - 7+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or related fields. - Proven experience in managing senior and junior data scientists in a fast-paced environment. - Strong leadership and project management skills. - Hands-on expertise in Python, object-oriented programming, and data structures/algorithms. - Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and applied mathematics. - Proficiency with ML/DL libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch. - Deep experience with ML algorithms including Regression, Gradient Descent, Decision Trees, and SVM. - Proven expertise with Transformer architectures and Large Language Models (LLMs). - Experience building LLM applications using frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex. - Ability to interpret and implement advanced ML research papers into production-ready solutions. - Strong communication skills and comfort in presenting to clients and leadership. Additionally, experience with cloud ML platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), familiarity with MLOps tools for model deployment and monitoring, and prior experience in AI strategy or product innovation initiatives would be beneficial for this role.,
