Data Science Intern

Role Overview: As a Data Science Intern working remotely for the company, your main responsibilities will include solving Time series 1D (continuous glucose monitoring), RNA sequencing, and Computer vision (mainly medical images) problems. You will be expected to tackle challenging problems using scalable 1D signal processing, machine learning, and deep learning approaches. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing state-of-the-art machine learning/deep learning algorithms for medical datasets. Effective communication of highly technical results and methods, as well as collaboration with researchers in Japan to understand requirements and request data, will be essential aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Solve Time series 1D (continuous glucose monitoring), RNA sequencing, and Computer vision (mainly medical images) problems - Implement scalable 1D signal processing, machine learning, and deep learning approaches - Develop advanced machine learning/deep learning algorithms for medical datasets - Communicate technical results and methods clearly - Collaborate with researchers in Japan to understand requirements and request data Qualification Required: - Master/Ph.D. in a relevant field from tier-1 colleges - 1~2 years of experience with programming languages such as Python or C++, Pandas - 1~2 years of experience working with deep learning frameworks, i.e., Pytorch or Tensorflow - Proficiency in classical time series algorithms, NLP, Computer vision, etc. - Demonstrated experience with machine learning/deep learning models - Ability to read and implement research papers from top conferences - Experience in developing IP (patents) and publishing papers - Proficiency in Windows, Linux, dockers, PPT, and Git commands Additional Details: This is a remote internship opportunity with the potential for conversion to a full-time position after six months based on performance.,
