Data Science Engineering Consultant

As an experienced developer, you will be responsible for owning the development of applications with a focus on correctness, resilience, and quality. Your role will involve troubleshooting system problems, conducting impact analysis of changes, and taking ownership of the full software development lifecycle. You will create detailed technical specifications, test case documents, and design and implement data models to support various business needs. Key Responsibilities: - Own the development of applications with a focus on correctness, resilience, and quality - Troubleshoot system problems and conduct impact analysis of changes - Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle - Create detailed technical specifications and test case documents - Design and implement data models to support business needs - Communicate and collaborate with global teams - Provide expert advice in areas of Data Modelling, Data Warehousing, Data Marts, Data Governance, and Security Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field - 5-8 years of relevant industry experience - Proficiency in Python, AI/ML, SQL, and/or any other scripting language - Experience in developing and tuning LLMs or GenAI Models - Strong proficiency in Python and libraries such as LangChain, HayStack, Transformers - Good experience in Machine Learning and training models using various techniques - Experience conducting Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and reporting key metrics - Knowledge of statistical analysis and modelling techniques - Experience with Cloud Data Lake technologies such as Snowflake The company is looking for self-motivated individuals with excellent interpersonal, communication, and team building skills. Working knowledge of Gitlab CI/CD is required, and experience with Agile methodology and full SDLC process is preferred. Additionally, familiarity with analytics applications like Informatica and Tableau, as well as documentation and collaboration tools, is desirable.
