Data Science Engineer

You will be responsible for formulating, suggesting, and managing data-driven projects aimed at furthering the business's interests. Your role will involve collating and cleaning data from various sources for use by junior data scientists. Delegating tasks to Junior Data Scientists will be essential to ensure the successful completion of projects. Monitoring the performance of Junior Data Scientists and providing them with practical guidance when necessary will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be selecting and utilizing advanced statistical procedures to derive actionable insights and cross-validating models to ensure their generalizability. Producing and distributing non-technical reports detailing the successes and limitations of each project will be crucial. You will also suggest ways in which the insights obtained can be utilized to inform business strategies. Staying updated on advancements in Data Science and related fields to ensure the relevance of outputs is another key aspect of the role. You should have extensive experience as a data scientist and proficiency in Python, Numpy, Panda, Scikit Learn, SQL, or similar AWS services. An in-depth understanding of SQL, competence in machine learning principles and techniques, and a demonstrable history of devising and overseeing data-centric projects are required. You should possess outstanding supervision and mentorship abilities and be capable of fostering a healthy, stimulating work environment that promotes teamwork.
