About the Role:

Join our dynamic and future-focused Enterprise Data Organization (EDO) as we build a team that delivers timely, accurate, and high-quality datasets to power essential decisions across global markets. As a Data Researcher I , you will play a foundational role in supporting and strengthening our data ecosystem—driving productivity, speed, and long-term scalability.
This position supports the EDO vision by ensuring the completeness and accuracy of commodity and energy trade data that fuels our product platforms. Your work will directly impact internal and external stakeholders, reinforcing trust in the insights derived from our databases. Through research, analysis, and collaboration, you'll contribute to the continuous improvement of our data quality and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Research and input key data using our Reference Data platform and other internal tools.
Monitor and analyze news and developments in the oil, gas, and commodities markets across key regions.
Maintain our market-leading datasets to reflect real-time changes and trends in the sector.
Address internal and external data inquiries, collaborating closely with analysts and engineering teams.
Proactively identify and resolve data discrepancies or anomalies to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Support data enrichment and new product initiatives by contributing to research tasks that expand our coverage.
Follow structured processes to meet SLAs, uphold data standards, and ensure timely delivery.
What we look for
We are seeking detail-oriented professionals who are passionate about data and eager to grow within a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
Essential:
Strong communication skills—both verbal and written.
Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets with precision.
Experience with Microsoft Excel and general proficiency in MS Office.
Internet research capabilities and a structured approach to data collection.
Willingness to work in rotational night shifts and adjust to fast-paced deadlines.
Organizational agility and multitasking capabilities.
Preferred:
Interest in energy markets, commodity trade, or data-driven platforms.
Familiarity with automation tools or visualization platforms is a plus.
Experience or educational background in Oil & Gas, Energy, or related sectors.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any stream, with preference for those with majors/minors in Energy, Oil & Gas, or Trade.
Fresh graduates to professionals with up to 3 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
