Data QA Engineer

As a Data QA Engineer at our company, your role involves ensuring the quality and integrity of the data by designing and executing data validation strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain data quality standards and deliver high-quality software solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for ETL pipelines and data validation. - Perform SQL-based data validation to maintain data integrity, consistency, and correctness. - Collaborate with data engineers to test and validate Data Hub implementations. - Automate data quality tests using Python and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. - Debug and troubleshoot data-related issues across different environments. - Ensure data security, compliance, and governance requirements are met. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define and enhance testing strategies for big data solutions. **Qualifications Required:** - 6+ years of experience in QA with a focus on data testing, ETL testing, and data validation. - Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation, transformation testing, and debugging. - Proficiency in Python is an added advantage. - Experience with ETL testing and Data solutions. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work across functional teams.
