Job Description

Role Summary:

We are looking for a Data Engineer who will be responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines, managing data staging layers, and integrating multiple data sources through APIs and SQL-based systems. Youll work closely with analytics and development teams to ensure high data quality and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and staging tables.
Develop and optimize SQL queries for ETL processes and reporting.
Integrate data from diverse APIs and external sources.
Ensure data integrity, validation, and version control across systems.
Collaborate with data analysts and software engineers to support analytics use cases.
Automate data workflows and improve processing efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

2-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role.
Strong SQL skills and experience with query optimization.
Hands-on experience with API integrations (REST, JSON/XML, OAuth, etc.).
Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
Experience with ETL tools or frameworks (e.g., Airflow, dbt, or custom scripts).
Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for data tasks.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.

Nice to Have:

Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
Exposure to version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
