The Business System Analyst (Data Modelling) at MetLife plays a crucial role in the Data & Analytics organization by ensuring that data is structured, organized, and represented effectively according to the organization's needs. This role involves designing logical and physical data models, implementing robust data models, and managing data end-to-end. As a Business System Analyst (Data Modelling), you will be responsible for performing data modeling activities using tools like CA Erwin Data Modeler, gathering and analyzing business requirements accurately, analyzing data using SQL, and collaborating with other teams to translate data needs into effective models. Additionally, you will work closely with stakeholders to provide domain-based solutions and implement industry data modeling standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Perform data modeling activities (Logical, Physical) using CA Erwin Data Modeler - Gather, understand, and analyze business requirements accurately - Analyze data using SQL - Collaborate with other teams to translate data needs into effective models - Implement industry data modeling standards and emerging technologies - Hands-on experience with API development and integration (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related tech or business discipline - 3-5 years of hands-on experience in CA Erwin - 3-5 years of experience in SQL, data modeling, and data analysis - Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing - Understanding of API Design and Ingestion - Strong SQL skills, hands-on experience with ERWIN tool, familiarity with Agile best practices - Strong collaboration and facilitation skills Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with Azure cloud - Experience in a client-facing role/environment About MetLife: MetLife is recognized as one of the "World's Most Admired Companies" and the "World's 25 Best Workplaces."
