Data Modeler

Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling and database design, with a focus on creating efficient and scalable data structures to support our business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data models that meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with data architects and other stakeholders to define data structures and standards.
• Optimize data models for performance and scalability.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights.
• Ensure data integrity and quality through effective modeling practices.
• Create documentation for data models and related processes.
• Participate in data governance initiatives to maintain data standards.

Skills and Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in data modeling and database design.
• Proficiency in data modeling tools such as Erwin, IBM InfoSphere Data Architect, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with database management systems like Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Understanding of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
