Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Data Migration Developer to facilitate the migration of data from Oracle databases to Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management and ETL processes, with a focus on ensuring data integrity and seamless transition.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze the existing Oracle database structure and data.
Design and implement effective data mapping and transformation strategies to align with the requirements.
Develop processes to extract, transform, and load data from Oracle to Salesforce using industry-standard tools. Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process. Validate and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of migrated data. Perform data mapping, transformation, and cleansing to align with target system requirements. Monitor and troubleshoot migration processes, resolving issues in a timely manner. Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and administrators to understand data requirements. Document migration procedures, processes, and best practices. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in data migration or similar roles. Strong proficiency in Oracle database technologies (SQL, PL/SQL). Proven experience in ETL tools and data migration processes. Experience with data mapping, cleansing, and validation techniques. Familiarity with data modeling and schema design principles. Ability to analyze and resolve complex data-related issues. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Preferred: Certification in Oracle Database or related technologies. Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies. Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
