Data Migration Architect

As a Data Migration Architect and Lead at EY GDS Data and Analytics (D&A) team, you will be an integral part of helping clients solve complex business challenges using data and technology. Your role will involve managing large-scale data migration projects, designing and implementing data architecture solutions, and ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the migration process. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilize ETL tools such as Informatica/IICS, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to drive successful project execution. Additionally, your role will involve working in an onshore-offshore model and managing multi-vendor scenarios. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and manage large data migration projects, ensuring successful execution and delivery. - Design and implement data architecture solutions aligning with business requirements and best practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define data migration strategies. - Utilize ETL tools, particularly Informatica/IICS, to facilitate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. - Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the migration process. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing project progress updates and addressing concerns. - Work in an onshore-offshore model, coordinating with teams across different locations and managing multi-vendor scenarios. **Skills And Attributes For Success:** - 15+ years of experience in data migration, data architecture, or data engineering. - Proven track record of successfully managing large data migration projects. - Strong technical management skills with a focus on cloud ecosystems. - Experience with ETL tools, preferably Informatica/IICS. - Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Familiarity with working in an onshore-offshore model and in multi-vendor environments. - Be part of a dynamic team driving significant data transformation initiatives. **Qualifications:** - Minimum 8 years of experience as an Architect on Analytics solutions and around 8 years of experience with Snowflake. - Strong technical background and enthusiasm to learn new technologies in a fast-moving environment.
