Data Management Technical Lead

As a Data Management Technical Lead/Product Owner at Air Products, you will be responsible for leading the technical support and implementation of various Data Management tools such as Alation Enterprise Data Catalog, SAP Information Steward, Precisely Management Studio, Qlik suite, SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud), SAP Datasphere, and HANA. Your role will involve possessing technical knowledge of these applications, including upgrades and maintenance, while collaborating effectively with global teams to build relationships with key stakeholders and drive business value through the use of data tools. In this hybrid role based in Pune, India, your primary responsibilities will include serving as the main point of contact for technical support, defining and prioritizing the technical product backlog in alignment with business objectives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading the planning, execution, and delivery of technical environments. Your expertise will be crucial in providing technical guidance, training, and support to end-users, ensuring successful deployment and utilization of data management platforms. To excel in this role, you should have up to 8+ years of experience in Applications Development and/or Business Intelligence/Database work, with a focus on requirements analysis. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field is required, with a preference for a Master's degree. Your technical skills should include experience with terraform and Azure DevOps for provisioning infrastructure, along with a deep understanding of data catalog concepts and data integration. Your ability to troubleshoot technical issues, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders will be essential. Experience with agile/scrum methodologies, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and knowledge of data privacy considerations are also desired.
