Data Management Technical Lead

As a Data Management Technical Lead/Product Owner at Air Products, your role involves leading the technical support and implementation of various Data Management tools such as Alation Enterprise Data Catalog, SAP Information Steward, Precisely Management Studio, Qlik suite, SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud), SAP Datasphere, and HANA. You will be responsible for possessing technical knowledge of these applications, including upgrades and maintenance, and collaborating effectively with global teams to build relationships with key stakeholders and drive business value through the use of data tools. Your primary responsibilities in this hybrid role based in Pune, India, include: - Serving as the main point of contact for technical support - Defining and prioritizing the technical product backlog in alignment with business objectives - Collaborating with cross-functional teams - Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of technical environments - Providing technical guidance, training, and support to end-users To excel in this role, you should have: - Up to 8+ years of experience in Applications Development and/or Business Intelligence/Database work - A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's degree preferred) - Technical skills including experience with terraform and Azure DevOps for provisioning infrastructure - Deep understanding of data catalog concepts and data integration Your essential skills include the ability to troubleshoot technical issues, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Experience with agile/scrum methodologies, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and knowledge of data privacy considerations are also desired.
