Job Description:
Develop and implement data governance solutions using the Alation platform
Define & implement comprehensive data catalog using Alation and ensuring that data assets are accurately described, categorized.
Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
Work with data stewards to identify critical data elements and define data lineage
Integrate Alation with other enterprise systems, Data Governance tools / Solutions
Design & Develop custom workflows and integrations with other systems to automate data governance processes
Troubleshoot and resolve Alation issues.
Strong understanding of data management concepts, metadata (technical and business) and data governance
Stay up-to-date with the latest Alation features and best practices
