Data Engineering & Analytics Architect

As a Data Engineering & Analytics Architect at NTT DATA, you will be responsible for owning the strategy, governance, and end-to-end architecture for backend data pipelines, transformation logic, and real-time/batch analytics. Your role will include defining data-first architecture, standards, and blueprints across various layers, leading the design of batch and streaming pipelines, establishing semantic/serving models, and enforcing security, privacy, and compliance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define data-first architecture, standards, and blueprints for ingestion, cleansing, enrichment, modeling, and serving layers. - Lead the design of batch and streaming pipelines using technologies such as Informatica, Spark, AWS Glue, and Azure Data Factory/Databricks. - Establish semantic/serving models and integration patterns for tools like Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, and SSAS. - Set up data quality and validation frameworks aligned with CLIENT benchmarks and champion lineage, metadata, and observability. - Enforce security, privacy, and compliance standards including PII handling per CLIENT data classification, encryption, RBAC, and secrets. - Drive audit readiness by establishing controls, documentation, evidence, and leading internal security reviews. - Partner with data governance and platform teams, mentor developers, review designs/PRs, and guide cost/performance optimization. **Qualifications Required:** - 10+ years of experience in data/analytics platforms with 5+ years in data architecture. - Expertise in ETL/ELT using Informatica and/or Spark/PySpark, along with native cloud data services like AWS Glue and Azure ADF/Databricks. - Proven integration experience with Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, and SSAS, and strong dimensional/Data Vault modeling skills. - Hands-on experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, Event Hubs, and batch orchestration tools like Airflow, ADF, and Glue Workflows. - Deep knowledge of security, governance, and audit practices, coupled with excellent stakeholder leadership skills.
