Data Engineering & Analytics Architect

As a Data Engineering & Analytics Architect at NTT DATA in Bangalore, Karnataka (IN-KA), India, you will play a crucial role in owning the strategy, governance, and end-to-end architecture for backend data pipelines, transformation logic, and real-time/batch analytics (dashboards & reports). **Key Responsibilities:** - Define data-first architecture, standards, and blueprints for ingestion, cleansing, enrichment, modeling, and serving layers. - Lead the design of batch and streaming pipelines using tools like Informatica, Spark, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory/Databricks, and choose the appropriate storage/compute solutions. - Establish semantic/serving models and integration patterns for tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, SSAS. - Ensure data quality and validation frameworks are aligned with CLIENT benchmarks and promote lineage, metadata, and observability. - Enforce security, privacy, and compliance standards including PII handling as per CLIENT data classification, encryption, RBAC, and secrets management. - Drive audit readiness by implementing controls, documentation, evidence, and leading internal security reviews. - Collaborate with data governance and platform teams, mentor developers, review designs/PRs, and provide guidance on cost/performance optimization. **Qualifications Required:** - 10+ years of experience in data/analytics platforms, with at least 5 years in data architecture. - Expertise in ETL/ELT using Informatica and/or Spark/PySpark, along with experience in native cloud data services like AWS Glue, Azure ADF/Databricks. - Proven integration skills with Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, SSAS, and strong dimensional/Data Vault modeling capabilities. - Hands-on experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, Event Hubs, and batch orchestration tools like Airflow, ADF, Glue Workflows. - Deep understanding of security, governance, and audit practices with excellent stakeholder leadership skills.
