Job Description

Experience:

Role Overview:

Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain
scalable data pipelines
for ingestion, processing, and storage.
Work on
data modelling
(conceptual, logical, and physical models) and ensure data quality and consistency.
Develop and optimize
ETL/ELT workflows
using industry-standard tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality datasets.
Implement best practices for
data governance, versioning, and pipeline monitoring
.
Support projects involving
GenAI
, including data preparation for LLMs, embeddings, feature stores, and prompt-based workflows.
Work with cloud platforms such as
AWS / Azure / GCP
for data engineering tasks.
Troubleshoot data pipeline issues, performance bottlenecks, and ensure robust production processes.

Required Skills:

4+ years
of experience in
Data Engineering
.
Strong expertise in
SQL
and at least one programming language (
Python preferred
).
Hands-on experience with
data modelling
and relational/NoSQL databases.
Experience with
ETL/ELT tools
(Airflow, DBT, Glue, ADF, etc.).
Working knowledge of
cloud data services
(AWS S3, Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, etc.).
Basic understanding of
GenAI concepts
, such as:

LLMs
Embeddings
Vector databases
Prompt engineering fundamentals

Experience with
CI/CD
, Git, and DevOps best practices is a plus.

Good to Have:

Exposure to
ML pipelines
or
AI/ML workflows

Knowledge of
Docker / Kubernetes
.
Experience working with
API integrations
or data services.
