Data Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for supporting process delivery by ensuring the daily performance of the Production Specialists, resolving technical escalations, and developing technical capability within the Production Specialists. Key Responsibilities: - Possess expertise in Azure Data Factory as a primary skill and Azure Data bricks Spark (PySpark, SQL) - Must-have skills include being cloud certified in one of the following categories: Azure Data Engineer, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data bricks Spark (PySpark or Scala), SQL, DATA Ingestion, Curation, Semantic Modelling/Optimization of the data model to work within Rahona - Experience in Azure ingestion from on-prem sources such as mainframe, SQL server, Oracle - Familiarity with Sqoop/Hadoop and Microsoft Excel for metadata files with requirements for ingestion - Hold any other certificate in Azure/AWS/GCP and possess data engineering hands-on experience in the cloud - Strong programming skills in at least one of Python, Scala, or Java - Proficient in SQL skills (T-SQL or PL-SQL) and data files movement via mailbox - Knowledge of source-code versioning/promotion tools like Git/Jenkins and orchestration tools such as Autosys, Oozie - Experience in source-code versioning with Git Qualifications Required: - 5 to 10 years of experience - Cloud certified in Azure Data Engineer - Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data bricks Spark (PySpark or Scala), SQL, DATA Ingestion, Curation, Semantic Modelling/Optimization of data model to work within Rahona - Experience in Azure ingestion from on-prem sources like mainframe, SQL server, Oracle - Familiarity with Sqoop/Hadoop, Microsoft Excel for metadata files, and other certificates in Azure/AWS/GCP - Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java, along with SQL skills (T-SQL or PL-SQL) - Knowledge of data files movement via mailbox, source-code versioning/promotion tools, and orchestration tools - Nice-to-have skills include experience working with mainframe files and working in an Agile environment with JIRA/Confluence tools.,
