Experience: 4-7 years Job Location: Bangalore/Mumbai Wissen Technology is actively hiring for a highly skilled Data Engineer. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in managing and optimizing complex data pipelines, with a strong emphasis on Python and SQL expertise. A deep understanding of data engineering principles, along with hands-on experience in Spark applications and Databricks, will make you an ideal fit for this role. Key Responsibilities Python Expertise: Develop, enhance, and optimize Python code for data processing, ETL pipelines, and automation tasks. (Essential) SQL Mastery: Write, understand, and improve complex SQL queries to handle large datasets, optimize performance, and ensure data integrity. (Essential) Data Engineering: Build and manage scalable data pipelines using DBT or Apache Spark/Databricks.Optimize data processing tasks to ensure efficiency and scalability. Understanding airflow or a similar orchestration tool is useful. (Essential) Data Warehouse/Data Modeling: Strong understanding of data models and data warehouses. Demonstrate expertise in data modeling concepts, schema design, and decomposing models (Essential). The ability to understand and implement technical and business data quality rules is essential. Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake, etc.). Familiarity with cloud-native data services and tools is desirable. (Good to have) Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in an Agile development environment.
