Data Engineer Senior II

As a Data Architect in our team, you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining scalable data infrastructure, mentoring team members, ensuring data platform reliability, and leading data engineering initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Designing and managing robust, scalable, and secure data platforms and pipelines. - Architecting data lake/data warehouse solutions such as Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, Delta Lake. - Building real-time and batch data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Kafka, Spark, DBT. - Ensuring data governance, lineage, quality, and observability across all pipelines. - Collaborating with stakeholders to define data strategy, architecture, and KPIs. - Leading code reviews, mentoring junior/mid-level engineers, and enforcing best practices. - Driving performance optimization for queries, storage, and infrastructure. - Integrating CI/CD workflows for data deployment and testing. - Evaluating and implementing new tools/technologies as needed. **Qualifications Required:** - Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL. - Deep understanding of distributed systems and data processing frameworks. - Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP/Azure, containerization, and CI/CD. - Experience with streaming platforms like Kafka, Kinesis, and data orchestration. - Strong experience with Apache Airflow, DBT, and warehouse tuning. - Demonstrated leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities.
