Title: Data Engineer (AWS)

Location: Remote

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable and reliable data migration solutions from Oracle to PostgreSQL.
• Utilize AWS DMS to manage and execute large-scale database migration projects.
• Develop data transformation pipelines using Python and PySpark.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data architects, analysts, and DevOps to ensure smooth migration processes.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of data migration pipelines.
• Maintain data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Document technical solutions, migration processes, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Migration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle to PostgreSQL migration.
• Proficiency with AWS Database Migration Service (DMS).
• Advanced programming skills in Python and PySpark.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, schema design, and performance tuning.
• Experience in handling large datasets and data quality assurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Experience with additional cloud data services (e.g., AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift).
• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL frameworks.
