Data Engineer - Python

You are a detail-oriented and highly skilled Test Automation Engineer with a strong background in Test Automation, particularly focusing on data validation and transformation logic. You possess a solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts. As a member of our Data & Analytics team, you will be responsible for developing the Golden Model simulation using Python and creating and validating synthetic test data. Your role will involve close collaboration with data engineers, QA analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality data in a CI/CD environment. Your key responsibilities include designing and developing automated scripts in Python to create a golden model within SQL Server for test automation purposes, collaborating with developers and analysts to understand data requirements, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and deployment, identifying and tracking defects and inconsistencies in data, and contributing to test automation strategies and reusable SQL test frameworks. To excel in this role, you should have strong experience in Test Automation, proficiency in Python (especially with frameworks like YData-Synthetic, SDV, Gretel-Synthetics, SynthCity, DoppelGANger), experience working in CI/CD environments and integrating tests into automated pipelines, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Additionally, having experience with MS SQL Server is considered a plus.
