Data Engineer - Python

Job Summary:

Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Python

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Python and Azure Data Factory.
• Orchestrate and automate data workflows using Azure Data Factory for efficient data movement and transformation.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize financial data and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless integration of data services with React-based user interfaces.
• Support backend data services and APIs using Java where required.
• Apply domain knowledge to engineer data models for intraday liquidity stress testing and cash flow forecasting.
• Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into robust engineering solutions.
• Ensure data pipeline performance, reliability, and scalability across all components.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering and application development.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory for ETL and data orchestration.
• Working knowledge of Java and React for full-stack development.
• Familiarity with financial risk modeling, especially liquidity stress testing and cash flow forecasting.
• Understanding of cloud-based data architectures and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile framework.
