Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain
data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows
using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other Azure services.
Build and manage
data lake and data warehouse solutions
(e.g., Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics).
Optimize
data storage, retrieval, and performance
across structured and unstructured data sources.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business users to enable
self-service BI and advanced analytics
.
Implement
data governance, data quality, and security best practices
across all data solutions.
Automate processes for
monitoring, logging, and performance tuning
.
Work in an Agile/DevOps environment to support
CI/CD pipelines
for data solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Masters preferred).
Proven experience as a
Data Engineer
with strong expertise in
Microsoft Azure ecosystem
.
Hands-on experience with:
- Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake (Gen2)
- SQL, Python, PySpark, or Scala
- Azure DevOps / Git for CI/CD
Strong knowledge of
data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT concepts
.
Experience with
performance optimization
and
big data processing frameworks
.
Familiarity with
data governance, compliance, and security practices
in cloud environments.
