Job Title:

About the Role:

Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain
scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
to support data integration and analytics.
Work with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data across multiple platforms.
Optimize data workflows for
performance, scalability, and reliability
.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, BI, Business teams) to deliver data solutions.
Implement
data quality checks, monitoring, and governance
to ensure accuracy and security.
Manage data pipelines on
cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
and modern data tools.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing data workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3-8 years of experience as a
Data Engineer
or in a similar role.
Strong expertise in
SQL
and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
Hands-on experience with
Big Data technologies
like Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
Proficiency in
Python, Scala, or Java
for data processing.
Experience with
Cloud Data Platforms
(Azure Data Factory, Databricks, AWS Glue, GCP BigQuery, etc.).
Knowledge of
data warehousing concepts
and dimensional modeling.
Familiarity with
modern data stack tools
(dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse).
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good to Have:

Experience in
CI/CD pipelines
and DevOps for data workflows.
Exposure to
machine learning data pipelines
.
Knowledge of
data security and compliance
practices.

Education:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field.
