Job Description

Job Title:- Data Engineer Location:- Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad (Hybrid) Job Type:- Permanent Employee Responsibilities: Skillsets required: Application and API development SQL data modeling and automation Experience working with GIS map services and spatial databases Experience creating GIS map services Data and application architecture Handling of legacy data Familiarity with Client work processes and data is a plus Platforms: DataBricks Snowflake ESRI ArcGIS / ArcSDE New GenAI app being developed Tasks that will need to be done: Combining and integrating spatial databases from different sources to be used with the new GenAI application Building of map services with associated metadata to support questions from geoscience users Set up necessary updating cycles for databases and map services to ensure evergreen results Help with constructing APIs for these databases and map services to structure the best possible workflows for users Assistance with data and application architecture Help with handling legacy data, such as links to existing applications, databases, and services Ensure that IT requirements are being met as we build our project, including integration, data tiers, access control and status monitoring
