Data Engineer (AWS)

You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based data infrastructure to support BFSI customers at LUMIQ. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and implementing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design scalable data models and architectures aligned with BFSI industry needs. - Optimizing data storage, processing, and retrieval for maximum performance and cost-efficiency in cloud environments. - Implementing data security and compliance measures to protect sensitive BFSI data integrity. - Working closely with data scientists and analysts to enable seamless access to high-quality data for analytical purposes. - Troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues to ensure data availability and reliability for BFSI customers. - Staying updated on industry best practices, emerging cloud technologies, and BFSI sector trends for continuous improvement and innovation. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer with strong skills in SQL and Data Marts. - Strong SQL querying skills and experience in Data Marts, complex KPI transformations, and data pipelines. - Skills and experience working on platforms like DBT, Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, and Airflow. - Experience and skills in Spark, PySpark, ingestion, and transformation. - Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. - Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Spark for data processing and ETL operations. - Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and database management systems. - Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data processing frameworks. - Familiarity with BFSI industry data standards, compliance requirements, and security protocols. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
