Data Engineer - 6 Months Contract(Remote)

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a dynamic team working on modern data solutions using Azure Data Factory and Databricks. The role involves designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing best practices for data integration, quality, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using ADF and Databricks
• Build and manage data integration from diverse sources
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and architects to deliver business insights
• Ensure high performance and reliability of workflows
• Apply CI/CD for smooth deployment and version control
• Conduct data quality checks and uphold governance standards
• Document architecture, processes, and troubleshooting procedures
• Stay updated with Azure and Databricks advancements

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years in data engineering
• Proficient in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and SQL
• Strong understanding of data modeling and ETL
• Familiarity with Python and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Git)
• Relevant certifications are a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in global teams
