Data Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain data pipelines with

    Dataform/DBT

    and

    Apache Airflow

  • Develop and optimize data warehouses in

    BigQuery

  • Write efficient

    SQL

    and

    Python

    for data processing and automation
  • Implement data quality checks and monitoring
  • Ensure pipelines are scalable, reliable, and cost-effective
  • Partner with data teams to deliver actionable insights
  • Stay current with GCP data engineering best practices
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–4 years as a Data Engineer
  • Strong

    SQL (BigQuery preferred)

    and

    Python

    skills
  • Hands-on

    GCP

    data services experience
  • Solid knowledge of data warehousing and

    ETL/ELT

  • Experience with

    Dataform/DBT

    and

    Airflow

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Preferred

  • Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer

    certification
  • Knowledge of

    data modeling

    (dimensional, star schema)
  • Familiarity with

    Agile

    methodologies
